$5 Million USDA-NIFA Grant

Dr. Doug Morrish, Professor and Associate Dean of Research, College of Applied Arts

Dr. Doug Morrish, Professor in Agricultural Sciences, and Associate Dean of Research, College of Applied Arts, received a $5 million USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture grant to encourage non-traditional agricultural audiences to consider potential careers in the food, agricultural, natural resources, and human sciences (FANH) workforce.  This grant will include creation of a one-of-a-kind internship to provide annual internships for 55 students each academic year (fall, spring, and summer).  Drs. Eryn Pierdolla, Nicole Wagner, and Pratheesh Omana Sudhakaran are Co-Project Directors on the grant.
